While browsing through the latest issue of bang (a Swedish feminist magazine) I saw this article called ‘Odd Girls’ which was written and illustrated by Loka Kanarp. In the article various odd girls throughout history are described, including for example Jane Austen, Daria and Lisa Simpson. Really good stuff, as you can see:
I think I may have to buy Kanarp’s book, too. In that one she supposedly writes about 60 historical women. How awesome does that sound?
